Verified badge¶
Verified means Pewter has proven that the GPU itself holds the claimed compute and memory — not just that the machine reported it.
Currently OFF for every machine
Verified is switched off and fails closed. No listing shows it today. A passing proof does not set it, and nothing a seller sends can set it.
It stays off until:
- the GPU proof workload has run on real hardware,
- timing calibration is done, and
- remote checks can show the memory actually sits on the named GPU.
Listings still carry a verification tier (S0–S3) based on measurements; buyers can filter with verification_min. See Proofs.
